His Love Makes Us Want To Do Right

"2 Peter 1:9 Our faith must go beyond what we believe; it just become a dynamic part of all we do, resulting in good fruit and spiritual maturity. Salvation does not depend on good deeds, but it results in good deeds. A person who claims to be saved would remaining unchanged does not understand faith or what God has done for them.

2 Peter 1:10 Peter wanted to rouse the complacent believers who had listened to false teachers and believed that because salvation is not based on good deeds they could live any way they wanted. If you truly belong to the Lord, Peter, wrote your hard work will prove it. If you're not working to develop the qualities listed in (2 Peter 1:5-7), you may not belong to Him. If you are the Lord's and your hard work backs up your claim to be chosen by God-you will be able to resist the lure of false teaching or glamorous sin.

What does your life say about your faith?
- Life Application Study Bible

(Romans 6)
Yes, Jesus died for our sins and we won't be judged by that. But, because Jesus laid down His life for us, His love should make you want to do right... We serve God, not by obeying a set of rules, but out of renewed hearts and minds that overflow with love for Him.

Why live right?
It's ungrateful, selfish, and blatantly disrespectful to continue doing things our way after all God did for us. Sin equals death & habitually living in sin, will lead you to death quicker than expected... God forgives our sins but He doesn't always take away the consequences.

There's only ONE way for salvation and that's faith in God's Son, Jesus Christ (John 14:6). But, there's a whole new life transformation that comes with believing... To be a follower of Christ, we must change and strive to be like Him. What's faith without action? DEAD! And wheres there no life, there's no presence of God. To be a Christian we must bear good fruit. Galatians 5:22-23

Psalm 34:1

Check this out: If believers post a status about our love for our Savior Jesus Christ, we usually get an average of 0-10 likes right? Well how come if we post a selfie, random junk or even food we get flooded with Likes, Comments and Shares. As for me, I rather people know about Jesus rather than what's going on in my personal life. I rather you know my God than to know my name. God isn't a part of my world...God IS my world! He took my punishment by choice. So, I choose to follow Him with all my mind, soul and strength by choice! I understand that everyone changes in their own timing and some haven't heard the gospel spoken to them without sugarcoat… But, I strive to show the world my light so that maybe someone can come to know Jesus. But one thing I don't understand is how people can reject my Savior + tear down other Christians who have strong faith. It is not a competition. It's not even about us, it's about Jesus! The more you truly get to know the LORD by reading the Bible, the more you'll get to know Him… As a christian you have to ask yourself, "what will heaven be like?" The answer is that, we will live with God for ETERNITY! The angels sing "Holy, Holy, Holy" nonstop… If a little bible study, prayer, praise and worship bothers you, then you aren't equipped what God has prepared for those who love Him! I'm coming to realize that my purpose in life is to encourage others to get to know Jesus Christ. I love Him so much and I'm so VERY thankful that He went to Hell so I will never have to, let His body be whipped so that I can have healing, became poor so that I can be rich, and have the gifts of the Holy Spirit so that I can too! I guess I'm totally obsessed with Jesus! As much as I want to give up sometimes and stop ministering to ppl, the Holy Spirit won't let me...and deep down inside I don't desire to give up. It breaks my heart knowing that there are way more people going to Hell than to Heaven. I can only imagine what God is feeling. If one person comes to know Jesus through my ministry… then, it's totally worth it! I take my faith serious because He took me serious when He was beaten and nailed to the cross so that I can have a relationship with Him!

"Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Get to know Him better.

How to become a FIRM Believer!

We were created to have fellowship with our Lord Jesus Christ. He died to know us. He doesn't want us to live our lives without Him, leaning on our own understanding, struggling through life as if we only lived to die. He wants to show us the light, set us free and to prosper in all things. He wants an intimate relationship with each of His children. He wants us to get to know Him. But, how do we get to know Him? By studying His Word. Didn't you know that Jesus Christ is literally, the Word that became flesh!? He was even here before creation. Everything that God made was done by speaking things into existence. Jesus was literally spoke into existence and the Word (Holy Bible) became flesh (John 1:14)! Therefore, there is NO other way on earth that we can "truly" get to know Jesus without reading the Bible: His Word. This is why the LORD's Holy word is banned in numerous countries.

There is so much power and life that comes from the Word. God doesn't want us to feel burdensome, obligated or bored when we read the Bible. He wants us to read with a glad heart that yearns for Him. It's not easy understanding the Bible because it cannot be understood without the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:14). God tells us to ask Him for knowledge and understanding (James 1:5) not, from Google. Run to God first before others, because He can best tell you about Him, Just as we can BEST tell others about ourselves and not folks that don't even know us...! This is why the Christian Faith is different from all others. Our God desires a relationship with His followers so desperately that He hung on the cross and died for each and every one of us (John 3:16). If this is you, I'm not trying to condemn you. I don't have that power and there's no condemnation to those that are in Christ. I'm just a living witness that there seems to be no real purpose for life or meaning without the Word of God. Without the Bible, we walk by sight (all 5 senses) and not by faith (spiritual eyes and ears). There's so many promises of God, spiritual gifts and blessings waiting for us all to grab hold of. But, we can never experience those major blessings if we don't even know that they exist. God wants us to attend church regularly but, He also wants us to read our Bibles regularly not just on Sunday's. We need the Word of God in our lives everyday so that we can slay demons (Ephesians 6) and walk in the right paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). I know from experience what it's like to live without the knowledge and wisdom of God and what it is to live with it. And, I prefer to live a life knowing God!

We have several resources to help us read the bible: bible study, children version bibles, simpler versions such as NLT & NKJV, study bibles, commentaries, and so much more! There is no excuse on the face of this earth for a believing Christian to not have a relationship with Jesus Christ through HIS WORD! It's all rooted in pride and laziness. I just want to encourage you to get intimate with the Holy Bible! My life may be the only "bible" that some may read. But, I only hope to inspire you, not force you or receive any praise because the glory and honor belongs to The Father. I'm just a sinner saved by Grace who finally decided to open up the Holy Bible so that I could get to know who my Savior was for myself! This is the divine will of God... He wants YOU to get to know Him for yourself. Sure, you can seek wise counsel but, He wants you to learn who He is so that you can fully trust Him and claim hold of the blessings He has for you. God isn't happy to see us struggling through life with no purpose. He wants you to realize that He created you for His special godly purpose. He has so much in store for YOU! He loves you so very much, no matter what you've done! He wants you to become a firm believer!! But, you have to develop your faith by daily reading His Word. Your true identity is found in the Word, not this dying world. His Word is the light in this world and it will renew your mind and transform your soul (Romans 12:2). Because once you change your thinking, you will change your life! Think like Jesus so that you can be like Jesus! All instructions to living abundant life are found in the Holy Bible!

Start with the New Testament or a daily Bible plan. Starting with the beginning of the Bible "Genesis" is completely fine but, it'll be more understanding to start with The Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We are the "Church Age" and in the dispensation of "Grace." The Bible, is alive and very powerful right NOW! Bible prophecies and the promises of God are quickly unfolding! Did you know that every Word of God is a promise!? When God said, that He'll never again flood the earth and a representation would be the sign of the rainbow, that still exists today... Ever since the time after Noah's Ark! When He said, By His stripes you are healed, YOU ARE HEALED! When He said, you can do all through Christ which strengths you, that still exists today! Everything that is written, is "yes" and "amen" (2 Corinthians 1:20)! It is finished! We can have all of these blessings!! God is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER!
